This is the bread and butter, probably 70% of the gear to do repair works is bolted to Arkie, but that 30% extra, that's the difference between a "just enough to limp it to the side of the road and get it recovered home" and a repair to make the rest of the trip or getting a field service done properly.

Tacked onto one of the other support options it puts an additional element of support in place and the upfront of carrying the additional gear to site includes some freebie hours or a larger number of discounted rate hours. While I'm still messing with the concept think of it along the lines of $500 up front would cover off a combined day of base camp support and mechanical repair or service works.
